Car safety is getting more and more attention from the public. On July 27, China Consumers Association mentioned in the draft "Automotive Safety Service Specification" (draft) that car operators should explain and warn consumers about ways to prevent hazards. The relevant person in charge of the AQSIQ revealed that the "three guarantees" of the automobile will be released.

Car manufacturers should warn of danger

According to reports, the "Car Safety Service Specification" (draft) drafted by China Consumers Association has entered the stage of revision and improvement, highlighting two key words: safety and service. It is proposed that consumers have the right to know the real situation of the car. For car products and services that may endanger personal property and safety, the car operator should give real explanations and clear warnings to consumers, and ways to prevent the occurrence of hazards. Car consumption education, such as airbags, children's chairs, seat belt use, vehicle wading knowledge, and self-help in emergency situations, including whether the headrest can be used as a safety hammer.

The "three guarantees" of the car will be released

Regarding automobile complaints and disputes, China Consumers Association said that after the official release of the "Automobile Safety Service Specification", the Consumer Association can accept automobile complaints according to it in the future. If the automobile operator refuses to accept the investigation, the Consumer Association can expose and organize the hearing. Will, issue consumer warnings, bring industrial and commercial law enforcement, support litigation and other functions. If necessary, consumer organizations can also set up people's mediation committees, or invite professionals in the automotive and legal fields to participate in the rapid mediation of automobile consumption disputes, reducing time and economic costs.

In addition, in September last year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) publicly solicited opinions on the "Regulations on the Responsibility for Repair, Replacement, and Return of Household Car Products" (referred to as the "Three Guarantees" of the automobile), and held a hearing on October 26. In January of this year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine again asked for the second time of the "three guarantees" of the car, and then there was no further progress. In this regard, Wang Lizhen, deputy inspector of the Quality Department of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, only revealed at the symposium yesterday that the "three guarantees" of the automobile will be released.
